Join us this September to Fight Hunger in Kern County!

Recycling Drive & Luncheon for Veterans

Join CAPK Veterans & Supportive Services, KGET-TV 17, and community partners for a recycling fundraiser benefiting programs that support homeless veterans throughout Kern County.

Bring your recyclable materials and enjoy a $20 deep-pit sandwich lunch, including chips, a drink, and a cookie. Pre-orders are available for orders of 10 or more meals.

Recycle Drop-Off: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Drive-Thru Lunch Pickup: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Your participation helps provide critical services and resources to local veterans experiencing homelessness and housing instability.

Free Zumba Classes!

Get moving, have fun, and stay active with free Zumba classes at Friendship House Community Center! Join us for energetic, instructor-led Zumba sessions with an experienced Zumba instructor. Classes are open to all fitness levels, and no reservations are required.
